Founded in 1954, Daoust is Belgium’s most experienced HR company on the market. With its six departments, it is active in the main areas of HR: temporary employment, selection, outplacement, service cheques, Job Academy & Public Sector.

Daoust is a business on a human scale, 100 per cent Belgian, which has become an essential partner on the job market. It is represented in the three regions and active in the three languages of the country via its 35 JobCenters and departments.

Daoust is a pioneer company in the field of temporary employment (since 1954), of outplacement (since 2001), of service cheques (since 2003) and of Job Coaching (since 2006). It is constantly developing new concepts, such as for example, the first “paperless” JobCenter (90 per cent less paper) opened in 2010 in Brussels or the Daoust Proxibus system, Belgium’s unique mobile service cheques agency.

Daoust attaches a great deal of importance to human, social and societal values, especially by way of: Daoust Diversity (a commitment against discrimination at work), the programmes Parol and Filons (support in working out professional projects), Exaris Interim (a temporary social work agency founded in partnership with Actiris) or via its “One Job Shows” (improvisation/coaching for job hunters and youths finishing their education/training).

Thanks to its diversification strategy, which has guaranteed stability during the financial crisis of 2008, Daoust has seen a strong turnover increase of €10 million in 1997, €30 million in 2000, €69 million in 2009, €85 million in 2010 and an estimated €100 million for 2011.
