Everything you need to know about temporary employment
What is temporary employment?Temporary employment is the provision of temporary employees by Daoust for business customerscustomers: jobs of all durations, in all kinds of sectors.
Temporary employment therefore involves three parties:
As a temporary employee, you work in a client company but Daoust is your employer: we will remain your sole contact for all administrative formalities, questions or problems.During each job, you are a real Daoust ambassador towards our customers.
What type of jobs?
Your Daoust consultant will offer you temporary jobs of all durations (one day, a week, a month or several months) and in all kinds of sectors.
Temporary employment therefore enables you to gain varied professional experience in different companies and accumulate a solid and diversified experience. At Daoust, the consultant who will take care of you in your JobCenter is also the one who meets the customers. This means he/she really can help you find the jobs that suit you best!
When you register with Daoust, you will sign an “letter of intent”. This is not a contract but a declaration stating that you accept to work as a temporary employee; it is kind of registration form. Your registration is free.
You only sign your employment contract after we have offered you a job and you have accepted. This contract will be signed between you and Daoust, who acts as your employer.
As a temporary employee, your contract is always a temporary contract. If your job lasts longer than foreseen/expected, a new contract will be drawn up between you and Daoust.Temporary employment often offers you opportunities for permanent employment: 58% of our temporary staff find a permanent job in the medium term!
Daoust is your employer: it is therefore Daoust that pays your salary based on the same conditions as the fixed staff in the client’s company.
At the end of each week, we will receive by return, a job sheet stating the hours you worked for the client.
Your salary is paid to you by Daoust by bank transfer at the start of each week following receipt of your work.
It’s also possible to receive your payslips electronically via the Zoomit system.
Nothing could be simpler: activate the Zoomit application via your home bank and all your pay documents will automatically become available via this system: income tax overview, individual account, pay statement, etc.It is a system which is practical, confidential but equally ecological.
Your rightsThe status as a temporary employee makes no difference to your legal rights to work. You have the same rights as a permanent employee within the client’s company.
